This includes participation in and support of club training rides, recreational cycling in general, organized &#8220;Fun Rides,&#8221; and sanctioned and unsanctioned racing events that involve cycling as the primary or a substantial component.<\/p>\n<p>A secondary mission is the support cycling related charities and causes through volunteerism and financial donations.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, it is the mission of the Canyon Velo Cycling Club to model, and when appropriate, actively teach, civil behavior, cycling safety, and correct cycling etiquette, methodology, and techniques.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The primary mission of the Canyon Velo Cycling Club is to promote and support cycling.
