Reuters, North America; August 2: Speaking at the criterium scheduling meeting for 2013, Canyon Velo President Carl Moler proudly announced that team member Kevin Strand has signed a racing extension which commits him to Canyon Velo for the full 2013 season. Also announced at the meeting was Kevin Strand’s planned participation in February’s always popular St. Valentines Day Criterium….. an unnamed source from the host cycling club said……”we’re happy that Mr. Strand has agreed to our initial financial offer for his appearance at our event, we look forward to his aggressive nature in this year’s 55+ category.”
Unavailable to comment as he is currently training in Kastachatian, Kevin Strand’s early 2013 schedule includes “de Plato esta Tuciuan” in Chile (January 4th-8th), Tour de las Andes in Peru (January 13th-19th) and the Champions de National in Cali, Columbia (January 27th)……he will then return to the United States to begin his domestic schedule.
